I still think we’re in a post-modern period where people really reject all the color blind models of society transitioning to a very reactionary period where it’s not pluralism, but an exclusivity of cultures in a way….yeah identity politics. Ideally, what we reach in the next phase of American race-relations is a period of true pluralism where we celebrate cultures that are in relation to each other, but still a true pluralism, where they are in relation without domination. Is that something this image can hint at?
